Case Federal began his teaching career in 2008 with the School of Rock in Charlotte, NC. During that time he also attended Central Piedmont where he received his Associates Degree in Fine Arts, with a Major in Vocal Performance and Minor in Music Theory. During his time with the Charlotte SoR, Case made a name for himself as a calm and patient instructor with a knack for helping younger students get over the initial hurdles and complications that came with beginners. He also directed many Tribute Shows with groups of 15-30 students all working together to build and promote live shows within the community, and instill of love of good music and live performance in the hearts of the next generation of musicians!
In 2012, Case moved to Austin, TX, and transferred to the School of Rock there as well to be an Instructor and Additional Show Director. It was here that he truly honed his craft for one on one lessons, taking on multiple instruments, a constantly full load of lessons, and Directing the Adult Program which catered specifically to students above the age of 21. Case also continued to Direct Tribute Shows, and even began offering Songwriting/Composition Lessons.
In 2017, after moving to Eugene, OR, Case took a job as an Assistant Lessons Lead & Instructor with Guitar Center; where he currently still works and teaches. These lessons are all one on one, but can be 60 or 30 minutes long, depending on the student. Case is one of the top instructors at this location with a constantly high turn over rate for new students, and at one point even a wait-list to sign up with him!
